This recital is geared towards enthusiastic young students who could use an opportunity for more growth. The Rising Stars recital is available to students in grades 1-4 who participated in the March District Auditions (tracks D2, Regional, or Piano Duet) and earned a 5 on their chosen piece. They may perform a maximum of 2 pieces (not to exceed 3 minutes total per student). No recital will last longer than 45 minutes due to the ages of students involved, and we may have two recitals depending on need.
Qualifying students will be notified within two days after district auditions with a very quick turnaround, so teachers are recommended to identify which of their students might be interested before district auditions.
Cost: $15/student ($30/student for non-MAME members)
